Well, we did not win, but we got a very hard fought second. The track was very dry and dusty. Every one had to run the top of the race track and there wasn't very much passing. We are still first in points. |

Not too good of a race this week. We won our heat race. Had clutch trouble all night and finished 3rd. That's all I can say. Jim |

WON!
This was a very very hard race to win. We did not win our heat race, came in second. Had to start third row, now the place to start on this race track tonight. That put us on the inside row, and Mike had to work his way to the top of the track. Three of the cars starting up front were very fast. We passed two cars on the inside, boy was I surprised and excited. Then, we got to the outside and passed one more to put us in second place. With about five laps to go, Mike pass the other car, and we took the lead for good. Mike drove the wheels off the car, HE DID A GREAT JOB. We had a great pit crew last night, thanks to Christina, Carol, Brian, and John Gamble (and I helped some also). ~Jim |

Well, we finally got to race (NO RAIN). The weather was a perfect 85*.
We won our heat race, but it was a tough war. The
feature started with 24 cars. We actually got to finish a race with out trouble.
Mike drove the car as hard as I have ever seen. We finished 4th. An all of us
was very happy it was over. Several bad wrecks and a roll over made this race
something you were just happy to get a good finish.
Mike also drove the #86 bomber car. He was never in or
driven a bomber car in his life. He won the heat race by a full straight away.
When it came to feature it was a little harder but he pulled off a well earned
win. All in all we had a great night of racing.
We had so many bad days of racing in the last few weeks
that we lost the points lead by about 20 points but last night we got back
about 17 of those hard earned points. Just a guess but I think we are about
three or four points out of the lead right now with five races to go for the
2008 season.

7th Place We did OK. We finished 7th. And Mike Watson who we are battling with for first place points finished 11th. We gained six points on him, now we are only 14 points down from the championship with only two races left this year. Mike is working hard to beat him. Jim |

3rd in Heat
Running 5th place in the feature when car #04 in front spun-out in the 19th lap causing Mike to spin-out to keep from hitting #04. Mike then was back in 20th and finished 14th.
"The 1st yellow waved as B feature winner Jimmy Greenway came to a halt out of turn 4 bringing out the yellow and bunching up the field. On the restart, Hartwigsen again jumped to the lead with Hawkins, Kelley, Fulp and Henson running 2-3 wide in tight action as Leslie Essary was starting to make his presence known along with Mike Hailmann ." |
